Thank you for all your support during our annual July sale. We are often so busy during the course of the year that good stock sometimes gets lost amongst the thousands of meters of fabric we have on offer. Our July sale forces us to turn the shop upside down and in the process we rediscover fabrics that have been forgotten – but are as beautiful as ever. We were able to offer those fabrics at significantly reduced prices to make way for new stock coming in (and they literally flew off the shelves) – so a win win situation all round!
The anticipation of Spring is definitely present and I am looking forward to that immensely. In this vein, and to get your creative juices flowing, yellow home decor is on the rise – especially sunflowers – either in wallpaper, on cushion covers or as framed prints.
On another note, I was reading recently about the worst design trends of the past fifty years. The number one design horror, unsurprisingly, was furry toilet seat covers – hard to argue with that! Interestingly though, curtain pelmets came in very high on the list. I wouldn’t go so far as to call pelmets a design disaster, but I would have to agree that they are much less desirable and appropriate in our homes today. Modern curtain hardware is stunning – and we have the latest and best of the current designs out there. Come in and look for yourselves.
We have just made and filled 100’s of new scatters! You can definitely see we are getting ready for Spring with all the gorgeous designs and colours!
This month there are some absolutely gorgeous new fabrics that have been launched from the various Fabric Houses! Please pop in and have a look at our Trendy Cut Length Table! It is full of new designs.
